It's amazing to me that the Bible closes with that reminder. The Lamb is Jesus, the One who was sacrificed to 'take away the sin of the world (John 1:29). And the thought is this... at the heart of the throne of God is a Redeemer. WOW. The verses from Hebrews 4:15-16 have always been among my favourites! I find myself often thanking God for a high priest who is able to 'sympathise with my weakness' and that I can approach the throne of grace with confidence because of Jesus.
