Thanks Ray and Malcolm!
Ray, you are so right about our devotional life becoming 'routine.' Recently I put aside my small journal and bought an A4 sized notepad. I have started using mindmapping instead of traditional journalling and my Bible study and spiritual reflections have taken off! The unstructured, visual approach has set me free and provided a fresh way of approaching my quiet times with God.

Hi Helen,

a very interesting perspective. I have found I also need to review my devotional life otherwise it becomes routine and comfortable and you don't grow when you are inside your comfort zone.

I'm looking at this area right now so this was a timely and helpful for me.
